
Emmanuel Aondoaseer Zaka is a native of Ikyobo in the Ushongo Local Government of Benue State, Nigeria, and the son of a renowned Benue-born Journalist, Ace Broadcaster, and Seasoned politician, Samuel Abuul Zaka of blessed memory. He is a University of Jos Biochemistry student.

In memory of his late father, Emmanuel published his first book, Journey with Samuel Zaka (2020). He was Assistant Head Boy of Unique Secondary Academic in Makurdi for the 2017/2018 school year, President of the Junior Engineering and Technology Students (JETS) club, and Secretary of the Historical Society of Nigeria, all at Unique Secondary School in Makurdi.
He has also served in the student union government house of parliament at the University of Jos on two occasions. Emmanuel is a UN Sustainable Development Goals (UN-SDG) ambassador and the chair of the committee for Goal 19: Partnership for the Goals. He is a Rotaract club member and a member of the Nigerian Federation of Catholic Students (NFCS) at the University of Jos. He is a proud member of the Benue state chapter of the Association of Nigerian Authors.
When the university of Jos’ student union government welcomed the 2019/2020 executive council members, Emmanuel Zaka was appointed assistant secretary general. He was named “NUBESS Icon of the Year, 2021” by the National Union of Benue State Students (NUBESS), University of Jos chapter, for special recognitions. At the 2021 Benue secondary schools’ banquet and award night conducted for 2017 graduands in the state, he was named “Poet and Writer of the Year 2021.” In the year 2021, the Association of Nigerian Authors, Benue state branch, declared him a hero.
The Igbian yongu u Abuul Zaka, Abuul Zaka’s precious lamb, believes that “understanding who you are begins with knowing where you came from.”
