Praise Ugbede Adejo, also known as Praiz, was born on March 8th, 1984. He is a Nigerian producer and R&B singer-songwriter currently associated with the Steve Babaeko-founded record company X3M Music.

After Praiz placed second runner-up in the inaugural season of Project Fame West Africa, his music career gained attention. His most well-known hits include “Rich and Famous,” “Sisi,” and “I Love You.”

Praiz is a native of Igala in Kogi State who was born in Lagos but raised in Kaduna after his father was sent there for missionary work. Out of a total of five children, he is the second. After completing his studies at Kaduna Polytechnic, he earned a National Diploma in Computer Science.

Minister Prospa Ochimana, a gospel music minister, performer, worship leader, songwriter, and music director, was born on November 6 in Kogi State. Additionally, he is a native of Nigeria’s Kogi State.

Prospa Ochimana is a multi-award-winning Nigerian gospel vocalist, songwriter, music coach, clergyman, mentor, and performer. In addition, he serves as Tornveil Music International’s CEO.

The annual Festival of Grace worship event (FoG), organized by Minister Prospa (Tytman), has featured well-known gospel performers including Freke Umoh, Chris Morgan, Psalm Ebube, Elijah Oyelade, and many others. He is well-known for the revered worship song “Ekwueme,” which features the late Mrs. Osinachi Nwachukwu and catapulted him to popularity in 2018 and completely altered his career.

Dare Art Alade, better known by his stage name Darey, is a multi-platinum Afro&B singer, composer, record producer, and businessman from Nigeria. He is also the creative director of Livespot360 and the son of the renowned African jazz musician and entertainer Art Alade.

Darey is a musician hailing from Kogi State who was born in Lagos. A Nigerian jazz pioneer Art Alade and Olapeju Alade. When he was younger, Dare enjoyed exploring his father’s huge jazz library and accompanying him to his performances.

Juwon Demas Olorunnipa, better known by his stage name Jumabee, was born in Nigeria on June 21, 1989.

Jumabee is a Kogi state-born singer, songwriter, and dancer. He is also a graduate from the Fisheries Department at the Federal University of Agriculture in Markurdi, Benue State.

Jumabee is renowned for a number of popular singles, including “Mango,” which was produced by Young John, “Dance It,” “Sankara,” “Braka Dance,” and others.

Yakubu Jubril, sometimes referred to as YQ, is a Kogi state-born musician. He was born in Ibadan, Oyo state, in the early 1980s, and he began his musical career in 2002 by forming the group Q-krest. His solo career began in 2007.

He has worked with a number of well-known artists, including Naeto C, MI, Ice Prince, Banky W, Wizkid, Eldee d Don, Mode 9, Vector, Jaywon, Terry G, Dagrin (R.I.P. ), Ill Bliss, and many others.

Efimile ft. Dagrin, I Like Girls, Dresscode, Sandalili, Efimile Remix, Tonite, Area (MI), Duro (Naeto C), Oyoyo (2shotz), Carry My Bag (Jaywon), Turn By Turn (Kel ft. Wizkid), etc. are just a few of the hit songs he’s been credited with.

Tunde Ednut, is a comedian and singer who was born on January 20 in Kogi State, he’s well-known on social media.

Possessing a variety of skills Instead of being called a blogger, Tunde would rather to be known as a supporter and motivator of others.

His Yoruba ancestors hail from Kogis State, yet he was born in the northern Nigerian state of Katsina.

Dr Sid’s involvement in the remix of “Catching Cold” is what originally made him well-known, though he already had hits such as “Jingle Bell Bell,” “Baby Boo,” and “Catching Cold.”

Iledare Oluwajuwonlo, born 6 June 1986, better known by his stage name Jaywon , is a Nigerian singer, songwriter, performer, producer and actor from Kogi State. He launched his record label named Next World Music in 2013 after his exit from Kennis Music.

When Jaywon won the opportunity to perform at the sold-out Kennis Music Easter Fiesta in 2009, the event’s organizers took notice of him right away. Later that year, Kennis Music Record Label and Jaywon agreed to a record deal.

Jaywon has one of the most recognizable voices in the business, according to one description of him. He released the single “Odun Yi (This Year)” in December 2012 to positive reviews and successful sales in 2013. Later, he entered into an endorsement agreement with PZ Cusson, allowing the latter to use his popular song “This Year” for advertising purposes.

8. Tunde Baiyewu

Babatunde Emanuel Baiyewu, sometimes known as Tunde Baiyewu, was born in Kogi State on November 25, 1968. He is a part of the light-hearted duo Lighthouse Family and is a British singer of Nigerian heritage.

He started a solo career in 2004 with the release of the album Tunde, then in 2013 he put out his second album, Diamond in a Rock. Baiyewu graduated from Northumbria University with a degree in accountancy in 1994. In Lagos, Nigeria, in March 2007, Baiyewu wed Tope Adeshina, a young model from Nigeria.

9. Jeff Akoh

Nigerian musician Jeff Akoh, who was born on October 27, 1996, comes from Kogi Stare. Jeff became well-known after taking first place in the eighth season of the well-liked singing reality TV competition Project Fame West Africa, which was conducted in late 2015. He was the youngest winner to date when he took first place in the tournament at the age of 18. A management contract with 960 Music Group and Ultima Productions was soon made available to Jeff.

10. Johny Kore

Nigerian musician and songwriter, David Oromidayo John korede hails from Kogi State’s Adavi Local Government area and is better known by his stage name Johny Kore.

He was up in Agidingbi, Ikeja, Lagos state, where he began his musical career at a very young age. The label where Johny Kore is currently signed is Big Bag Entertainment Empire Ltd, it is where he also debuted with the song Alisa.
